Let's tell you about 1870's Taş Konak Hotels, which have been restored with a thousand efforts, preserving its unique spirit without succumbing to time.
Let's start...
The concept is bed and breakfast as always.
It has 5 rooms in total. Each of the rooms are named after people who left their mark on a period and lived in Urla. These are: ANAXAGORAS, one of the pre-Socratic thinkers, YORGO SEFERIS, the Nobel Prize-winning poet and diplomat, ISKENDER THE GREAT, PRINCE ULICE, who is described in t
he travel book of Evliya Çelebi as founding the city of Urla, and our unforgettable poet NECATİ CUMALI.
Each of the rooms is decorated differently from each other, very authentic... The dim light of the sconce lighting on the walls is very nice.
The concept of the kitchen in the morning is #hatay breakfast. About 25 kinds of flavors are on your table. All from the region and in its most natural form. They can also serve breakfast throughout the day.
If you want to have dinner here, don't leave without trying their home-made meatballs and San Sebastian cheesecake.
For groups, for an additional fee, they help with #guided #urlaturu tours.
1870's Taş Konak Art Street
1870's Taş Konak Sanat Sokağı, as the name suggests, is right on Sanat Sokağı... However, it is also peaceful due to its location.
The hotel, which has 4 rooms, is the result of the restoration of an old Greek house.
Conceptually, it serves bed and breakfast style. The breakfast consists of both local and first quality products from various regions of Turkey. Since it is right in the center of historical Urla, it is a few steps away from many gastronomy points, historical places, cafes, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, etc.
Our distance to the sea is 4 km.
The other sister hotel is a mini place with 3 rooms; @1870ucoda
🏠 For accommodation, we stop by 1870's Taş Konak Hotel - 3 Rooms in the Malgaca Bazaar area, the third hotel of Hüseyin Bey, who is known for his beauty, aesthetics and kindness in welcoming his guests. In this mini hotel, the rooms are decorated with the dreams of the old times. Our favorite is the stone room named Leylak with a fireplace.
In addition to the nostalgic pleasure of the decoration of the facility, the kitchen is also good! Otherwise, would we, who are fond of taste, ever come here! They prepare a mixed breakfast, which has a certain tradition, accompanied by gummy tablecloths and neat tableware. Their honey from Bayır Village in Marmaris, butter and cheddar cheese from Kars, Ezine feta cheese from Çanakkale, and acuka made with tomato paste from Hatay are delicious!
They cater to guests aged +16 and above.
They are not suitable for pets.
