Datça is a place where the sun warmly says "I’ll wrap you in cotton" and smiles brightly all year round. After all, it has a unifying mission where the Mediterranean and Aegean seas meet, which brings peace and makes people feel good.
⛵ Beyond the dozens of bays and coves of Datça, the wind at Gebekum Beach is an activity in itself. This natural wonder, home to 85 different plants, including sand lilies, and 19 different bird species, is under protection. And within the beach, just a step away from the sea, there's a small hotel that introduces you to surfing, spoils you with delicious food, and relaxes you in peace. This place is @flowdatcahotel, where I'm sipping my delicious cocktail at the beach bar and feeling great.
🏠 Let me tell you that there is so much to experience on the 18-acre property of @flowdatcahotel. For instance, it has a rich breakfast, rooms ranging from 17 to 30 square meters, pools for both adults and children, a lovely mixed sand-pebble beach, a yoga ambiance, refreshing gardens, and many other things waiting for you to discover. Moreover, it is only a 10-minute drive from the center of Datça.
🏄 At the hotel’s surf school, you can experience not only surfing but also windfoil, paddleboarding, and many other water sports. Don’t say it’s not for you! The wind is blowing, urging you to go, and before you know it, you’re doing it.
🍽️ Flow Datça Surf & Beach Hotel is also ambitious with its restaurant. You can find many alternative flavors from world cuisine. But given the location is a blend of the Aegean and Mediterranean, just imagine the fish and appetizers on your table. Both the restaurant and the beach bar are perfect for enjoyment. However, Datça has a local dish called keşkek; try it one day in the center. For sudden hunger pangs, I recommend gözleme made from Datça herbs.

🎶 Not all of the hotel's activities are on the sea like surfing. I suggest checking out the regularly published event calendar for their followers. With the music programs under Flow Summer Stage, the evenings come alive. You can enjoy great music with a unique sunset at Flow Sunset, held every Friday and Sunday.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 days in the last week of July 2022. The entrance to the sea is stony and then sandy. There is also an entrance from the pier. It made us happy since it is difficult to find sand in Datça. Food and cleaning were quite adequate. Another feature we liked was that there were events at night. It is a practical hotel for families with children, there is a very large lawn area and the staff is trying to help. I wish there were swings or a mini park area for kids, that was the only downside. Other than that, I definitely recommend it.

We stayed with my wife between 9 and 11 September. The hotel's location, architecture and layout are very successful in terms of landscaping. Everything is well thought out, the details are wonderful, the garden, the beach, the beach bar, the poolside restaurant, all of them are tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. It is obvious that the employees are very caring, respectful, helpful and educated. The breakfast is very successful. There is more of everything you want to eat. The other restaurant part is also very delicious and successful. We even chose Datça for dinner. We regretted it. The hotel's food is very successful, delicious and beautifully presented. Our only complaint about this hotel is that we stayed in the garden standard room with its bathroom. It was very small, so there was nothing to do in it. Only the cleanliness of the bathroom was very bad. This cleanliness does not suit such a beautiful, peaceful and high-quality place. When we entered, all the hairs and hairs of those who had left before us were in the bathroom. It has a tiny window anyway. It was not visible due to dirt and lime residue. The only minus for me is the bathroom. It was clean, the rooms were not furnished very tastefully, but the sheets were clean. The room has nothing to do with the outside. But since we spent most of the time outside, it did not bother us much. Apart from the fact that the bathroom was not clean, would I choose it again? I think it is a preferable hotel staff environment. The location is great. If the room cleaning problem is solved, it is a perfect environment.

I stayed for yoga and pilates camp on 18-22 May 2022. The hotel is very nice and clean. I saw a few ants in the rooms from time to time, these are normal things in a hotel in nature, do not worry. The palm trees, pool and beach bar all look very beautiful and you can take lots of photos. The beach is not completely sandy, there are small stones from time to time, there is more sand in the sea. It has a large and beautiful pier. The prices are normal considering the economic conditions. The variety of food is limited, but it is incredibly delicious and the presentation is very nice. I would also like to thank the kitchen chef, who was always around and gave information about the dishes and gave advice. Let's come to my favorite feature of the hotel. The staff is very caring and respectful. We can say that we did not notice all the minor shortcomings thanks to the devoted and helpful attitude of the hotel staff. Well done to all of them for their efforts. We also had the opportunity to meet Mr. Mert, the cousin of the hotel owner. We would like to thank him for his hospitality and the whiskey and tequila he offered us. We hope to be there again soon. Erkan Gülçe
