🌴 As we move towards the heart of Izmir, our "festina lente" philosophy in our personal dictionary starts to change. Sığacık, famous for its quietness in Seferihisar region, is a good choice for a different kind of vacation with its history, castle, ancient city of Teos, beautiful streets, delicious cuisine, proximity to the sea and nature.

In order to enjoy Sığacık, we chose Lavantalı Konak, right under the sea's nose, for our accommodation. It's a minimalist, extremely stylish place that suits the mood of the region.

🌿 The owners and their team respect the earth. They prefer pesticide-free, organic agriculture; solar energy, a zero-waste kitchen principle and sustainability are the key points of their hotel management. While we are talking sweetly like this, dinner is coming. We all sit together at the table overlooking the sunset. In the restaurant, daily fresh appetizers, calamari, shrimp and octopus as appetizers, and sea bass are among the prominent flavors. I recommend you to try the artichoke appetizers, octopus with beğendi and shrimp stew with mushrooms.

I think it was the views and the silence we encountered here throughout the day that made Lavender Mansion so warm and inviting to us, that never left us alone for a moment 🌴🌅

It is a suitable place for couples, families and groups of friends who want to have a pleasant, peaceful sea vacation.It's six in the morning at Lavender Mansion. With the first rays of the day, our room, whose window opens to the sea, is above the clouds. Akarca beach is indeed an unreal, mysterious and beautiful place. To enjoy this poetic atmosphere, we go straight down to the sea and swim. By the way, the sea in front of the hotel is not a sandy beach, so you swim from the hotel's pier.

Our day turns into a day of books, food and swimming here. For those interested, the region became one of the Cittaslow cities in 2009. Traveling is better than this 🫶

The sandy beaches on Akarca coast, one of the most beautiful beaches of Seferihisar, and Ekmeksiz beach are among the places to visit for a day. Diving and sailing courses can be taken as there is Akarca Fisherman's Shelter next to the hotel. I recommend you to visit Teos Ancient City as a sightseeing route, Sığacık Kaleiçi as a touristic center and Ayda Vineyards, the first wine producer of Seferihisar Gödence region, as a wine route.

Evening entertainment for the young and the young at heart:
