Here’s a suggestion for followers asking if there are still real villages out there and why they haven’t heard about them: reporting from Turgut, Marmaris. This is the place for free-range chickens, herds of cows and goats with bells grazing in the fields. And let me tell you more, farming is still practiced here; the land is cultivated and harvested. Honestly, such authentic villages are rare. While it's still available, I wanted to let you know that the place I stayed at in the village is Alados Hotel. 🧿
🏠 @aladosotel is one of the most organic places to experience village life in the heart of nature and eat everything freshly picked from the ground. After city life, you say ‘oh yes’ and find peace and yourself here. You wake up to fresh mornings at the foot of mountains filled with pine trees. The rooms in the hotel’s two-story blocks have garden and pool views. Some rooms open to the garden, while others have balconies. The smallest can comfortably accommodate 4 people, and the largest 8. So spacious!
👨🍳 Breakfast and meal presentations are made at the hotel's poolside restaurant. Being in such a nature-filled place, it is called a genuine organic village breakfast. In my opinion, the breakfast here truly deserves the title of organic; tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, all from their garden.
🥘 Eggs from free-range chickens, honey from local bees, milk from the neighbors' cows, and yogurt and butter also made from this milk. Fresh bread is baked in a wood-fired oven, and every morning the place smells like bread. They bring rock salt from Iğdır. The delicious flavor of the food comes from this. I recommend trying their "çökertme kebab" and "yoğurtlama"; they’ve made them quite well.
👶 Children aged 0-6 stay for free, while children aged 7-11 stay at a 50% discount.
✏️ There’s a 10% discount for those who say they’re coming from Small Hotels. But that’s not all, @aladosotel also offers free village tours, shuttle services, and open-air cinema. You’re privileged again.
🏊♀️ @aladosotel is only 1 kilometer away from Turgutköy’s sandy sea. The wonderful oxygen you breathe in also has a bit of iodine in it. If you want another beach, Orhaniye Kızkumu, Selimiye, Hisarönü are all within a 15-minute drive. And there’s Turgut Waterfall, which with its cool and sweet flow, is a must-see in my opinion.
👪 Come to Alados with your family! 🎯 Let the children ride ponies, and tour the village on a nostalgic tractor. There’s also a shuttle service to the beach, so swim a lot in Marmaris waters. Jeep safaris are also very appealing in the area by the way.
🐶 Call the hotel for pet-friendly accommodations.
