What silence! Not a peep - the landscape continues its absolute silence for me in Alterna, thankfully... 🌿 Alterna Village House is like the past and the future together. It is a four-cornered village house with the spirit of bygone eras, mortared chipped stone walls and spacious rooms. And all around are enchanting, old, hollowed-out olive trees. And the smiling faces smiling at me in front of the houses on the sloping streets as I stroll through the village... This is another world... 🧀 As for breakfast, there is everything from all kinds of spices, herbs, nuts, honey, healthy snacks, village cheeses, olives. Moreover, all the staff, especially the hostess Ms. Serap, are both friendly and knowledgeable. I'm still a fan of feta cheese, tomatoes and olives, sir, not to mention the air with plenty of oxygen. In short, Alterna Village House is one of the places we frequent. It is a nice detail that they serve 5 teas all day long, and that they always have homemade tarhana soups for babies and homemade yogurt in their kitchen... 🏖 If you need the sea: Sokakağzı Beach 5 km, Sivrice Beach 6 km, Kadırga Beach 16 km, Akliman Beach 16 km away. The art of eating and drinking in Assos: Ethem and Aslı Restaurant, Liman Fish House and Buta Tandır. Gallipoli Peninsula, Kazdağları National Park and Bozcaada are close enough for a day trip! Since Alterna's location is very central, don't forget to visit the ruins of Troy, Apollon, Assos and Alexandria Troas!
