Set in a historic building in the heart of Hydra, Angelica Traditional Hotel boasts charming accommodations with spa baths or jet showers, and offers a courtyard with a mini pool, hot tub and sauna.

Angelica’s romantic rooms retain a delightful note of old-fashioned charm and luxury. They are all air conditioned, and include satellite TV, safe and marbled bathroom with a complete set of Korres cosmetics.

Guests can start their day with a Greek Breakfast served buffet-style, including fruit pies, local pastries and fresh eggs. The garden, offering a seating area with deck chairs and comfortable sun beds, is the ideal place for enjoying the breakfast or just relaxing.

Angelica Traditional Hotel is situated on the central road of the island, about 3 minutes on foot from the port. A variety of water sports are available at the beach, 250 m from the hotel. The property can arrange transfer from Athens upon extra charge. Metochi Port, from where sea taxis to Hydra Island depart daily, is 5.5 km away.

The people were helpful. The room was comfortable. You can have a donkey bring your luggage but we carry ours. We did not get breakfast but there were places to eat or stores to buy yogurt so it worked out. I would recommend this place. We were really tired (Jet lag) and were able to nap in the afternoon.

I found the hotel owner to be strikingly rude. The hotel is high up so we had to walk uphill for a while with heavy luggages. No pick up service. I am used to better hospitality in Greece. The room was fine but overall the experience wasn't pleasant.

The room was lovely. The location was good. The staff left something to be desired. They offered nothing about the facilities on Hydra. I also received a very unpleasant call from a girl at the front desk, complaining that I was in my room too late two days in the row, which inconvenienced the cleaning lady. Totally unacceptable behavior for what was supposed to be a high class hotel.
