Located about 5 kilometers from Bodrum's center, Torba offers a more relaxed holiday experience compared to the lively and bustling atmosphere of Bodrum.

Like İçmeler and Bitez, Torba is one of the closest bays to Bodrum's center on the peninsula. Positioned on the northern side of the peninsula, Torba is a sheltered bay, attracting yachts and fishermen. Due to its enclosed structure, the sea here is almost always calm and wave-free. It is also relatively shallow, making it safe and ideal for families with children. Torba has managed to preserve its natural beauty even today. The road to the shore is lined with greenery, and pine trees almost touch the beach. Initially a quiet village where locals made their living through fishing, Torba has shifted towards tourism in the last 20–25 years due to the growing tourism potential and increasing number of accommodation facilities. However, you can still see local residents and old houses in the center of Torba.
