Cevizdibi Hotel | Small & Boutique Hotels in Masukiye Kartepe

It is one of the most preferred hotels in the Maşukiye region. Compared to other hotels, there are no Arab tourists and it is ideal for relaxing on the weekend. This is my 2nd time coming here and the minor renovations have been done and it's nice. Of course, there are still shortcomings in my opinion, but still, the balcony with mountain view and the wooden roof are wonderful. There is also a window on the roof above your bed and it is very enjoyable to watch the stars at night. However, I cannot say the same thing for the restaurant. As far as I understand, it is independent of the hotel, but since we stayed with breakfast included, we chose this place for dinner. The breakfast is very good, but when we ordered chicken with curry sauce for dinner, I guess the cooks didn't know how to cook this dish, so when I said "there is no curry sauce in this chicken", we got an absurd response like "we didn't put any cream in it". If you don't know how to make a dish correctly or you are missing ingredients, you won't put it on the menu or you will say so. Personally, if I am paying 35 lira here for a meal that costs 20 lira outside, I expect some care. I'm not even talking about the chicken skin that comes out of the dish and the salad-like thing that's just lettuce and carrots and placed next to it so that the plate won't be empty. On top of that, add any extra appetizers etc. Even though we didn't eat it, they wrote a price of 6 lira under the name of kuver, which added salt and pepper. Although the prices were above average, we would have ignored it if we had had a delicious meal, but we were not very satisfied with the restaurant. In summary, if you go to Maşukiye, definitely choose this hotel to stay. For dinner, I recommend you consider the alternatives in the surrounding area.

We went here for our honeymoon in July. The hotel is clean, stylish, the staff is very attentive and friendly. We said goodbye to the restaurant chef in particular as we left. We chose the Garden deluxe room. In this concept, you also have the opportunity to use a garden. In the pictures on the hotel's website, it looked like there was a garden in one room. When I specifically asked the reception about this, they said yes, the garden is only for you, no one else can see it. I liked this the most. However, when we went and saw that the garden deluxe rooms were lined up side by side and enjoyed the same garden, we were a little saddened. Apart from that, the standard breakfast is quite sufficient, but it gets a little faint after the 3rd day. The best thing is to buy a mixed breakfast with a difference of 10 TL. We had a small problem with room cleaning, and I think it was because we informed them after work. If you want room cleaning, you need to inform us early. In terms of places to visit and eat, there was a trout restaurant within walking distance, but it was mediocre. You can immediately go to the main road and go to the farms or Maşukiye center on that road with Sapanca cars. Sapanca beach was also stylish and beautiful. You can rent a bicycle. With all this, we have full points for Cevizdibi :)

It is good in terms of cleanliness, but the quality of the rooms is just fine. The beds were squeaky and the shower head of the room we stayed in was broken. There is a lot to say about business, but in one word, it is mediocre. You stay as a hotel customer, but you are not allowed to use the restaurant of the hotel. You are not allowed to bring anything from outside. When they serve breakfast at the restaurant in the morning, they become one, but when they want to sit down in the evening, they become separate establishments. What does it mean to get a difference even if it costs 10 TL for breakfast? In the hostel head, there is a situation of what we can get and how much money we can get. The price is already expensive enough and what is it like to pay additional money for breakfast and be ripped off by being forced to eat and drink from the restaurant just to sit in the restaurant section? When we called for the missing air conditioner remote control in the room, we were told it wasn't there. When you tell them to find it, they say they found it and come and get it. This is the understanding of business. If anyone wants to go, they can go this way.
