Assos Antik Kenti5 m

Assos Antik kentinin tarihçesi M.Ö. 6.yy'a kadar gidiyor. Zamanında kent, yüzünü denize dönmüş ve teraslarla iniliyormuş denize. Osmanlıların yerleşmesinden sonra yerleşim ters istikamette gelişme göstermiş ve Behramkale köyü ortaya çıkmış. Kent sönmüş bir volkanik tepe üzerine, andezit kayalıkları arasına, denizden 236 metre yüksekliğe kurulmuş. Assos'un etrafında bol bulunan andezit taşı kentin inşasında kullanılmış. Assos taşı zor işlenen ama çok dayanıklı bir taş. Eskiler onun için insan yiyen taş diyorlarmış. Bu taştan yapılan lahitler zamanında Assos'dan ihraç edilen bir ürünmüş. Assos'da arkeolojik ilk kazı 1881-1883 yıllarında Amerikalı bir arkeoloji grubu tarafından yapılmış.1981 yılında tekrar başlayan kazılarda ilk olarak nekrapol yani mezarlık ortaya çıkarılmış. Akropolün kuzey köşesinde Osmanlı Sultanı I. Murat'ın 14. yüzyılda yaptırdığı tek kubbeli cami bulunuyor. Behramkale köyü sınırlarındaki Osmanlı döneminden kalma köprü tümüyle ayakta olup halen kullanılıyor.

Greetings, I made a reservation in Küçükkuyu at the beginning of September and it was a complete disappointment for me. We were almost going to return to Istanbul. But (I'm glad I'm following you) Assos and your account, as well as the Kavala hotel you recommended, are both great. We spent 2 days. I wanted to share it with you. We were at the hotel for 4 days during the holiday, yes, it is the most beautiful hotel and beach in the region, there are many people coming to the beach from outside, do not forget to throw a towel on the sun lounger early, yes, the sea is cold but it resets you as if it is healing, the food was very good and the employees are very polite young people, there is no entertainment, it is a place to relax, which we liked very much. We were satisfied. Dinner is also served as half board.
