Erzurum Guide

Erzurum is a city located in eastern Turkey. Its history dates back to the Seljuk and Ottoman periods and therefore has a rich cultural heritage.

• Yakutiye Madrasa: The Yakutiye Madrasa, a building from the Seljuk period, is one of the most important historical buildings in Erzurum. There is also a museum inside.
     
•  Double Minaret Madrasa: Built in the 13th century, the Double Minaret Madrasa has become the symbol of Erzurum.
     
• Ulu Cami: Built in the 12th century, the Grand Mosque is one of the largest mosques in Erzurum and reflects the Seljuk architecture of the period.
     
• Erzurum Castle: Erzurum Castle is one of the oldest buildings in the city and was historically used for defense purposes.
     
• Palandoken Mountain: Palandöken Mountain is a popular destination for winter sports. At the same time, activities such as nature walks and mountain biking can be done in the summer months.
