How to get to Bozcaada

If you are coming to Bozcaada by bus, there are many bus companies. However, the buses bring you to Geyikli Bus Terminal. From there you can take a minibus to Geyikli pier. From there, you reach the island by ferry.   

If you want to come with your own vehicle and if you are coming from Istanbul, you can reach Çanakkale by ferry from Eceabat or Kilitbahir by using the Istanbul, Tekirdağ, Gelibolu Highway via Thrace and from Çanakkale you can reach the island by ferry from Geyikli Yükyeri Ferry Pier.    

Another option is that if you want, you can reach Bandırma by ferry from Istanbul Yenikapı and then you can go to Geyikli via Bandırma, Biga, Çan, Bayramiç, Ezine Highway and from there you can go to Bozcaada by ferry.  

Otherwise, if you are coming from other cities, you can follow the coastal route from Bandirma, Biga, Lapseki, Canakkale and reach Geyikli Yükyeri Ferry Pier and cross to the island. (The ferry reaches the island in about 30 minutes).

Çanakkale - Bozcaada-Geyikli Ferry Port is approximately 55 kilometers and takes 1 hour.

Izmir - Bozcaada-Geyikli Ferry Port is approximately 290 kilometers and takes 4 and a half hours.

Bursa - Bozcaada-Geyikli Ferry Port is approximately 310 kilometers and takes 4 hours 40 minutes.

Balıkesir - Bozcaada-Geyikli Ferry Port is approximately 180 kilometers and takes 2 and a half hours.

Ankara - Bozcaada-Geyikli Ferry Port is approximately 700 kilometers and takes 9 hours.

It takes approximately 550 kilometers and 8 hours and 10 minutes from Istanbul to Bozcaada-Geyikli Ferry Port. (by road)
