How to get to Buyukada

Transportation is provided by ferry services organized by the City Lines Enterprise of the Turkish Maritime Administration and catamaran-type fast ships of the Istanbul Sea Buses Enterprise.   

In the ferry transportation; a token sold at the toll booths at Sirkeci, Kabataş, Kadıköy, Bostancı, Kartal piers is bought and passed through the turnstile. On the return from the island, a ticket is purchased from the ticket office at the island pier and this ticket is collected at the landing pier. Therefore, this ticket from the island should be kept during the journey. The ferry journey from Büyükada to other islands is free of charge.
