Directions to Northern Cyprus
When entering Cyprus, Turkish citizens can enter without a visa or passport, only with their identity cards. It is possible to reach Cyprus both by air and by sea. If you want to reach by air, you can reach Ercan and Geçitkale Airport by plane from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya. Ercan Airport is located about half an hour from the center of Nicosia. From here, you can reach Nicosia and other cities by shuttles or by using the city transportation.
For those who prefer sea transportation, there are ferries and sea buses from Mersin, Taşucu and Alanya to Gazimagosa and Kyrenia.
