By car: The most direct way to get to Selcuk from Izmir is by car. Take the Izmir-Aydin highway (O-31) south towards Aydin. Take the Selcuk exit, and follow the signs to Selcuk. The drive takes about an hour.
By public transportation: You can also take public transportation from Izmir city center to Selcuk. First, take a train from Izmir Basmane Train Station to Selcuk. The journey takes about an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus from the Izmir Bus Terminal (also known as the "otogar") to Selcuk. The journey takes about an hour.
Once you arrive in Selcuk, you can explore the town on foot. The town is small and pedestrian-friendly, with many historic sites and museums within walking distance of each other.
