How to get to Sinop
Sinop is a city located on the Black Sea coast of northern Turkey. Here are some ways to get to Sinop:
By plane: Sinop Airport is located about 10 km from the city center. However, the airport only serves for charter flights, the nearest airport with regular flights is Samsun-Carsamba Airport located about 150km from Sinop. From there, you can take a bus, taxi or rent a car to reach Sinop.
By bus: Sinop has a bus station located in the city center, there are regular bus services to and from major cities in Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Samsun.
By car: Sinop can be easily reached by car from major cities in Turkey via the D850 highway, that connects Sinop to cities like Samsun, Zonguldak, and Ordu.
By train: Sinop does not have a train station, the nearest train station is in the city of Samsun, about 150km from Sinop. From Samsun, you can take a bus or a taxi to Sinop.
