  • By Road The most widely used transportation method to travel to Southeastern Anatolia is road transportation. You can travel to Southeastern Anatolia from other cities in Turkey by bus, private car or train. Sanliurfa, Gaziantep, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir and Mardin are the major cities of the region and all of these cities can be easily reached by road transportation.
  • Train From Ankara, the Kurtalan Express train can be used to travel to Diyarbakır. This train takes 21 hours to travel to Diyarbakır.
