How to get to Spetses Island

Spetses Island is located in Greece and can be reached by various means of transportation.

The most common way to get to Spetses Island is by taking a ferry from the mainland port of Kosta. From Athens, you can take a bus or a taxi to the port of Kosta, which is about a 2.5-hour drive. The ferry ride from Kosta to Spetses takes about 10-15 minutes and there are frequent departures throughout the day.

Another way to reach Spetses Island is by flying to the nearby airports of Athens or Kalamata, and then taking a taxi or bus to the port of Kosta. From Kalamata, the drive to Kosta takes about 3 hours. From Athens, it's about a 2.5-hour drive.

Alternatively, you can also take a water taxi or a private boat charter to Spetses Island from the nearby islands or mainland ports.

Once on the island, you can explore it by foot, bicycle, or motorbike, as cars are not allowed in the town center.
