How to get to Mount Ida

If you are coming to the region by bus, you can come to Edremit and reach Yeşilyurt Village by using the city transport facilities from here.   

If you are coming to Yeşilyurt Village with your own car and coming from Izmir, you can reach Yeşilyurt Village 3 kilometres after passing Küçükkuyu by turning at the Yeşilyurt Village sign and following the road. If you are coming from Çanakkale, after passing Ayvacık district, you need to continue for about 30 km. You can enter the village from the Yeşilyurt Village sign on the left of the road.    
       

Those coming from Ankara and Istanbul can use Bursa Road. You can also reach Yeşilyurt Village via Balıkesir. Although the journey takes a little longer, it does not make much difference.
 If you want, you can cross by motorbikes or boats from Çanakkale Kilitbahir or Lapseki while coming from Istanbul Europe or Tekirdağ.

• It takes approximately 515 kilometres and 7 and a half hours from Istanbul to Yeşilyurt Village.
• Bursa - Yeşilyurt Village is approximately 290 kilometres and 4 hours and 15 minutes.
• The distance between Ankara and Yeşilyurt Köyü is approximately 675 kilometres and 9 hours and 10 minutes.
• The distance between Izmir and Yeşilyurt Köyü is approximately 225 kilometres and 4 hours 15 minutes.
• The distance between Eskişehir and Yeşilyurt Köyü is approximately 440 kilometres and 6 hours 20 minutes.
