I would like to convey my views on Iceberg Hotel from the perspective of a tourism expert. First of all, Iceberg Hotel is a well-established hotel in terms of service. Of course, the contribution of both the management and the staff is indisputable. Personnel is a problematic issue in ski hotels. It is difficult to find qualified staff for only 3 months and even if they are found, it is also difficult to keep them after the end of the season.
However, İceberg Hotel staff does not make you feel any deficiency in this regard. Hotel Manager Engin Bey is at the hotel day and night and takes care of the guests one by one. Chef Murat Bey manages to make everyone happy with his delicious dishes. Likewise, thanks to the close attention and interest of the restaurant chef Murat Bey, receptionists Mr. Serdar and Ms. Seda, you feel like a guest rather than a customer. Not only the management but also all the hotel staff, whose names I unfortunately did not learn, are very kind and do their best to help you. The ski room staff and ski instructors are also very professional. I would like to thank all the staff of the hotel separately.
As for the hotel itself; the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is no problem with heating and hot water. There are no deficiencies in terms of cleanliness. Wifi works very well. The distance of the hotel to the chairlift is 150 meters. I think it is a reasonable distance for a ski hotel. If the snow condition is good on the way back, you can ski very close to the hotel.
Finally, Sarıkamış is a ski paradise with its snow quality, magnificent nature and reasonable prices. If you have not been here before, I say you should definitely come and experience this pleasure.
