Kartalkaya Guide

Located in the west of the Black Sea Region, Kartalkaya in Bolu is one of the most important ski resorts of the region and our country. It is located on the Köroğlu Mountains. Kartalkaya is located about 40 kilometers from the center of Bolu.Kartalkaya is one of the most important ski resorts in our country and attracts attention with its proximity to many big cities such as Istanbul and Ankara.On the way to Kartalkaya, a magnificent view welcomes you when you leave the Bolu turnoff to the side of Kartalkaya signs. Depending on the season, the green or white road is a bit winding and steep, but the view and the Sarıalan Plain and Saraycık Lake will make you forget the stress of the road. You can also come across many restaurants or eateries along the roadside. When you reach Kartalkaya, a magnificent nature and a wonderful holiday will be waiting for you.The ski season in Kartalkaya starts in early December and lasts approximately until March or April. At the most suitable and beautiful time, the snow thickness reaches approximately 3 meters.  Kartalkaya has 12 ski slopes, two chairlifts and six ski lifts. The total length of the slopes is almost 20 kilometers.
