It is a very decent, clean and authentic hotel that we preferred to stay in Bolu, where we came to ski in Kartalkaya. The rooms are clean, the view is magnificent due to its location, the staff is friendly and attentive. Kartaltepe Hotel is the right address to sleep in a village house in a clean air and wake up in an oxygen coma.
Pros and cons in general;
The rooms are partially small but sufficient, but the bathroom/toilet is very small. It may be a problem for long stays.
Even if you move to the big room, the toilets are designed as a fix.
Quiet and calm at night, perfect for sleeping. I think there is nothing like waking up to the day in a beautiful clean air. Bed quality is sufficient at medium level. If you do not have a very high level expectation, it will do your job.
It is 20 minutes away from Kartalkaya. It may be a better choice to stay here rather than coming for skiing and staying on the hill. The city center is also a maximum of 20 minutes away.
There are many guests from outside for dinner and breakfast in the morning. Live music accompanies dinner in the evening and it was very nice. We stayed on a weekday, it cannot be said that live music is very disturbing. There is some noise on the upper floor but it was not very disturbing.
The food is delicious with medium to high quality but the portions are a bit small. The breakfast is very good. We were able to taste apricots, oranges, cherries and strawberries. There are 2 kinds of olives with old cheddar and normal cheddar cheese and eggs cooked according to your preference. In summary, we loved the breakfast. The presentation with warmed bread is great, but the dinners could be slightly improved and the portions could be slightly larger.
Easy access, parking is available. They have two little dogs to welcome you in the courtyard. Don't be afraid of affectionate things, they are very interested in guests. :)
We are thinking of coming back to this place where we drink a lot of complimentary tea. We would like to thank you again for everything.
