I'm at the terrace of one of Selimiye’s newest spots, Loca Hill. The hosts, the Balcı family, have been running Loca Hotel at the same location for 12 years, and they are the sweetest people. They have infused all their positive energy into this new hotel. @selimiyelocahill is located at the highest point in Selimiye, offering a magnificent sea view from the terrace.
🎯 At the +12 age concept hotel, you are welcomed with homemade mastic cookies and lemonade, just like at their sister property @locahotel. These sweet touches make you glad you came. The 5 o’clock tea is also a classic here, whether you prefer to enjoy it on the terrace or by the pool.
🏡 Each of the 7 rooms at @selimiyelocahill has a cool breeze, with most overlooking the sea. The cozy, simple atmosphere and the soothing view lull you to sleep. The rooms are named after local spots in Selimiye, like Buruncuk, Sığ Liman, Gemecit, and Armutçuk. The name of the room you stay in is written on a handmade ceramic door sign by the host.
🥘 Breakfast is served by the pool, under fig and lemon trees in a garden filled with olive trees. The waterfall by the pool cools you down while a spread of happiness is laid out on the table. The hot dishes change daily, the greens are fresh, the jams are homemade, and the olives and olive oil are local.
❤️🔥 Selimiye is one of the calmest, bluest, and most enjoyable places in Marmaris. The sea is always calm. The town, which you can reach with a free shuttle from the hotel, is lively and colorful. Exploring the coves by boat is as delightful as spending time on land. For example, Captain Şener’s Sılanur 3 boat...
👨🍳 Everything from the sea is a must-try in Selimiye. From the poolside table of Loca Restaurant, illuminated by the lights of the boats, I highly recommend the octopus with beğendi, the hummus with pastrami, and the green apple mezze. They even offer free transfer between the hotel and the restaurant.
🍽️ Alternative recommendations include home-cooked meals at #KöşeRestaurant, Mehmet’s Place in Delikyol Bay, Deniz Restaurant, Rafet Baba Restaurant in Çiftlik Bay, and the cotton candy lemonade at Paprika.
🏊♀️ @selimiyelocahill is 1 kilometer from the sea. The sea in the center is pebbly, but Sığ Liman at the end of Selimiye has a sandy public beach. I highly recommend Delikyol and Çiftlik Bays for swimming. For local excursions, Turgut Waterfall, Bayır Village, and Kız Kumu are must-sees.
🐶 Unfortunately, they are not suitable for pets.

Turgut Waterfall, located in Turgut Village and surrounded by greenery, is a must-see location in our region and is frequently preferred by tourists.
