Ayvalık is a place we love very much as a family. Frankly, we were a little hesitant when planning a holiday with our friends who would stay in Ayvalık for the first time, wondering if they would like it. We had never stayed at Macaron Mansion before, and we had our concerns too. However, as soon as we entered, the mansion embraced us with its clean smell and magnificent texture belonging to the region. Especially when we met the owners, Master Architect Yavuz Bey and his wife, we started to feel like our own home. They hosted us like a real host; We asked their opinions on every subject and had nice conversations. Who knows, maybe one day, if we realize our dreams and settle in Ayvalık, we will become neighbors of this wonderful husband and wife. The most beautiful feature of Macaron Mansion that I cannot help but mention is the street it is located on. The hanging coffee house and bakery here are so wonderful that you can sit for hours, read a book, and drink delicious sage tea or lemonade.
