Kumlubuk Guide
The sandy beach merging with the deep blue sea and the pine trees surrounding it... In this bay surrounded by green hills, you will find the opportunity to rest not only your body but also the depths of your soul with a clear sea, a long beach and birdsong. In this beautiful bay where you can enjoy the sea and the sun to the fullest, you can take walks towards the green hills if you wish. You can visit the city walls and theater ruins of the ancient city of Amos on the hill with a half-hour walk from Kumlubük. When you proceed to the tip of the Amos hill, a magnificent view is spread under your feet. You have the opportunity to do any water sports you want in this most beautiful bay of Marmaris, which is also famous for its fishing, sponge fishing and harbor bays. There is also a highway to Kumlubük from Turunc. The dirt road passes right behind Turunç Hotel. The view is impressive.
Spend a morning or evening in Turunc for a walk to the ancient city of Amos. Amos, which you can reach on foot in 1 hour from Turunc and in half an hour from Kumlubük, was one of the important cities of ancient times, but not much has survived to the present day. You can see the theater and city walls on the narrow and long plain on the hill known as Hisar Burnu, where a small pebbly bay lies on one side and Kumlubük beach on the other.
The necropolis of the city is spread towards the slopes of the small bay to the north. But more than the ruins, you will be impressed by the view that stretches as far as the eye can see.
