Urla is a quiet and peaceful town: one of the most beautiful in terms of texture and atmosphere. Following the old cobblestone roads, we stroll around in complete tranquility and soak up the freshness of the air. Art Street is a feast from top to bottom. One does not know which way to look. Mitera 1905, which has a completely different rhythm with deep cultural roots, is immediately recognizable with its unique character and elegant tonal differences.

Even the name of the two-room guest house makes you want to dive deeper in your search. It has a rare beauty and purity. After all, we admire everything that feeds our creativity. The house, once inhabited by a prominent Greek family, has been restored with the sincere care of Mrs. Mehtap, an elegant hostess, and the talisman of her love for all the details. As soon as we enter, our eyes feast and a great bliss fills us. Nowhere else have we felt so deeply the boundary drawn by the walls, the separation between the inside and the outside. You can imagine...

The effect of the stonework carved in a dignified style is magnificent. Interesting objects from ancient times are arranged according to a certain scale with an abundance of textures. Each one deserves to be examined at length. None of the differently inspired details is the same as the one next to it, and as a whole they form a magnificent picture. The same perfection and aesthetic beauty everywhere. We are aware that we are living a unique moment.

The paintings on the walls of Mitera's rooms that offer glimpses of the past, the carved wooden headboards and the objects that make us smile, heal our souls. Their echoes are still in our ears. It's a place to take in our hearts. Another unique aspect: the calm and tranquil garden. Through the trees, beams of light trickle like water. It is also possible to participate in cultural activities and workshop gatherings in this environment. In the morning, we inhaled the smell of breakfast in the air and the jams made by Ms. Mehtap, which whetted our appetite even more. These breakfasts, which we enjoy while savoring its period-specific design, are evidence of how satisfied our bodies are. It is delicious to learn that in addition to these delicacies, we can also find spoon desserts of Seferad, Levantine and Greek cuisine at Mitera Dükkan.

After nightfall, upon request, Ms. Mehtap offers her gourmet culinary talents to the guests. She is a true virtuoso when it comes to traditional exchange dishes. Once again, we analyze our discovery: it comes out flawless and intact. Ms. Mehtap is also a literary artist. She is a cultured person with a passion for history, culture, mythology, flora and fauna. She is the ideal hostess for this beautiful place.

She gives her guests that magic that makes them say "this is my place". Mitera 1905 is a very special oasis that will make those looking for atmosphere happy...

One feels like stepping into a period movie in Mitera. It is a place where all the details have been meticulously thought out, it is like the guardian of almost forgotten tastes, and it is always accompanied by a friendly service. I take my loved ones there, I don't even think of anywhere else.
