Mudurnu, which is connected to Bolu and located about 50 kilometers from the center, is a district famous for its 180 historical buildings and old houses, which have been declared an urban protected area and protected by being declared an urban protected area. The history of Mudurnu dates back to 5000 BC. It has been home to many different and deep-rooted civilizations until today. It is known that there used to be a city called Modra in the same lands. It can be said that the name changed and took its current form. For this reason, Mudurnu has been declared an urban protected area. The houses of the district show similar architectural features with Göynük Houses. Today, most of the houses in Mudurnu are privately owned. Armutçular Mansion, Keyvanlar Mansion, Kazanlar Mansion, Yarışkaşı Mansion, Hacı Abdullahlar Mansion are among the most beautiful historical houses.
