Climbing the Taurus Mountains on a winding road overlooking the Mediterranean Sea offers a unique feast for the eyes! Kalkan, a picturesque fishing village tucked at the bottom of a steep tomorrow, always preserves its unique spirit... With its church, fountain, roads climbing up the hillside, beautiful houses with bay windows, a row of delightful restaurants, it is definitely a place worth visiting! The sea is always clear. I am staying at Patara Pirince Hotel (@patara.prince), which has become one of the classics of Kalkan with its Mediterranean landscape adorned with plenty of greenery and flowers and its magnificent location overlooking the sea. This place is like a secluded well of joy for me! The bougainvillea hanging from the thick Mediterranean-style garden walls and the sparkling sea a few steps below the Spanish stairs that have become a road step between the bougainvillea blossoms are among the details that make Patara Prince beautiful. My favorite terrace rooms are simple, spacious and give the feeling of being seated with all the details. The Superior Sea View Mediterranean Terrace Room is fantastic! Elegantly furnished, unique rooms with a king size bed, wood paneled ceilings. It has a magnificent marble bathroom with Jacuzzi, plus a walk-in shower unit, sunbathing with private daybeds on all terraces, a roof garden and a large terrace with spectacular sea views. The view of the Mediterranean is unbearably beautiful! Towards sunset, the restaurants by the sea with an emphasis on Mediterranean cuisine are very enjoyable with a glass of wine... The moral of the story is that it is possible to spend time here disconnected from the whole world 🌞⛱ 🌠Where to visit: Patara Beach and Ancient City Kaputas Beach Saklikent Canyon Layer upon layer of history in the immediate vicinity: Xanthos, Letoon, Patara, Patara, Kekova, Kalkan is also a great base for Fethiye trips!
