Selimiye Thales Otel
You don't need an excuse to go on vacation—just say you need a change of scenery and head to that place. For example, Selimiye is one of those places that brightens my day, especially with its peaceful tranquility. One of my favorite hotels in the area is @thalesselimiye, a place chosen by those who enjoy the symphony of waves and the beauty of birdsong. The sea is just 150 meters away, offering both a sandy beach and a large pool. From your window or balcony, you can see the turquoise ripples of Selimiye and the green of the meditation-inducing garden. Surrounded by things that make you feel good, your soul truly does open up. 🏡 The hotel has 12 rooms, half facing the garden and the other half the sea. Each one is simply and elegantly furnished. The 15-square-meter spaces are clean and airy, and the suite rooms with a jacuzzi and sitting area are perfect for honeymoons. The shallow sea and the beach are ideal for families with small children. 👩🍳 The restaurant serves delightful dishes. The Aegean-Mediterranean fusion menu features fresh seafood and organic fruits and vegetables. The sea view enhances the dining experience, making you even hungrier. Breakfast, meals—everything is beautifully presented and pleasing to the eye. Other dining options you'll be pleased with include Memleket Lokantası and Sankara Mutfak. The restaurants lined up along the shore are worth trying, and you can have fun in the evenings at Hydas Bar. 💃 ❣️ If you're driving, there's free parking, which I consider one of the best perks of a vacation. You can walk to the center of Selimiye. 🏖️ Plus, the blue is always close by. While you may not want to leave your sunbed on the private beach, there are nearby places to explore that will make you happy. 👶🐶 They love kids and pets, so bring them along. They accommodate one child under 6 years old for free. 👩🦽 They are also accessible for guests with disabilities. 📞 Call +90 (532) 380 5348 and say, "I'm a small hotel lover, and I'm coming on this date," and you'll get a 15% discount. I always say being a small hotel lover is a beautiful thing! 🥰 🎯 Selimiye is an important spot where our great-great-grandfathers built castles. You'll see remains of fortifications from the Byzantine and Ottoman periods around. You can walk through streets surrounded by Ottoman-style stone houses, visit Turgut Waterfall, and take daily boat tours to explore the beautiful bays of Bozburun. Don't forget your snorkel when you board the boat; the beauty beneath the surface is beyond words.
