We walk along the stone roads of Marmaris Söğüt and a blue iron gate opens. First an old bougainvillea tree welcomes us, then the friendly hosts of Rüya Pansiyon.
Mrs. Zübeyde is a person who beautifies and adds joy to the place she touches. In order to create a pleasant environment where people can feel comfortable, Ms. Zübeyde has turned this blue building, which is intertwined with nature and has an impressive view overlooking the olive trees and the village, into a pleasant little pension.
The room we stayed in called "Sunset" is our favorite. As the name suggests, the sunset is a feast, a feast, and then another feast until it ends here...
I don't know whether it is the energy of the lush green trees, the serenity of Söğüt or the beautiful hospitality of Mrs. Zübeyde and her children, but this place makes us feel so good. Once you sit under the shady trees of the pension, you forget everything and want to spend the whole day here! The sea is two steps away.
In the mornings, she prepares breakfast with fragrant vegetables from her garden. Mrs. Zübeyde serves a rich breakfast under the trees until late. The jams and many of the products at breakfast are her own. There is always pişi and there are periodically changing presentations such as herbs and fruits according to the season. The medlar, quince and plum jam is amazing: just the right amount of sugar!
Sitting in the garden, we watch the sea winking from behind the big trees and the hills of Selimiye behind us, accompanied by the sounds of birds and insects. This is a summer place that suits Söğüt very well... Seeing a quiet, calm landscape in front of us, the smell of the sea on one side and the air of Selimiye on the other, the pleasure of being in a huge garden, insatiable...
