We walk along the stone roads of Marmaris Söğüt and a blue iron gate opens. First an old bougainvillea tree welcomes us, then the friendly hosts of Rüya Pansiyon.
Mrs. Zübeyde is a person who beautifies and adds joy to the place she touches. In order to create a pleasant environment where people can feel comfortable, Ms. Zübeyde has turned this blue building, which is intertwined with nature and has an impressive view overlooking the olive trees and the village, into a pleasant little pension.
The room we stayed in called "Sunset" is our favorite. As the name suggests, the sunset is a feast, a feast, and then another feast until it ends here...
I don't know whether it is the energy of the lush green trees, the serenity of Söğüt or the beautiful hospitality of Mrs. Zübeyde and her children, but this place makes us feel so good. Once you sit under the shady trees of the pension, you forget everything and want to spend the whole day here! The sea is two steps away.
In the mornings, she prepares breakfast with fragrant vegetables from her garden. Mrs. Zübeyde serves a rich breakfast under the trees until late. The jams and many of the products at breakfast are her own. There is always pişi and there are periodically changing presentations such as herbs and fruits according to the season. The medlar, quince and plum jam is amazing: just the right amount of sugar!
Sitting in the garden, we watch the sea winking from behind the big trees and the hills of Selimiye behind us, accompanied by the sounds of birds and insects. This is a summer place that suits Söğüt very well... Seeing a quiet, calm landscape in front of us, the smell of the sea on one side and the air of Selimiye on the other, the pleasure of being in a huge garden, insatiable...

The hostel we stayed in between 6 - 10 August 2022 and loved it very much. We were very pleased with the price performance. Our room and hostel were spotless. Rüya Pansiyon's location is close to the sea, it was very enjoyable to spend time in its garden. Our breakfast was also delicious and satisfying. But most importantly, we were welcomed in a friendly and sincere manner. At this point, we would like to thank the owner of the business, Ms. Zübeyde. He sincerely supported us even with our personal problems :)

Let's start with the good aspects first. The location is close to the coast, a 5-minute walk. The garden is beautiful, you can watch the stars beautifully with the swing at night. We liked the breakfast. However, we encountered a problem that we have never encountered before in the comments. That's the clanking sound coming from the plumbing that keeps us up all night. The loud sound coming every 5-10 minutes throughout the night did not keep us awake at all. Frankly, this incident caused us to ignore all the positives of the hostel and leave after 1 night. Moreover, when we told this to the manager of the place, he considered it normal as if he had encountered such a situation before and said that normally this problem occurs in the room next to us. Frankly, this seemed a bit like blatant deception to us. If they solve this problem, it's a place to stay. However, those who are considering staying should call and make sure that this problem does not continue.
