Event Recommendations for Gezlong

Alanya Castle: One of Alanya’s symbols, this castle is 6.5 kilometers long, with its history dating back to the 2nd century BC. From the castle, you get a breathtaking view of the entire city and the Mediterranean at your feet. Even though the castle is by the sea, no matter how hard you throw a stone, it never reaches the water.
Tophane: If you walk from Alanya Castle to the Red Tower, you can see the historical Alanya houses that still preserve their natural texture, and the old castle district called Tophane. You can sit in one of the local cafes, enjoy the unique view, and try gözleme (a traditional Turkish flatbread) made by Alanya women, while sipping cold drinks.
Red Tower (Kızılkule): The first floor of the Red Tower is currently used as a museum, and in the center of the tower, there is a cistern. Due to the difficulty of lifting stone blocks, the upper floors were built with red bricks, which is how the tower got its name.
Damlataş Cave: Damlataş Cave, known to be beneficial for asthma, is famous for its stalactites and stalagmites, which are believed to have formed over 15,000 years. The cave got its name from the constant drips of water, and it’s one of the must-see spots in Alanya.
Dim Cave: Accepted into the International Union of Open Tourist Caves in 2002, Dim Cave is an elegantly decorated cave with stalactites, stalagmites, and columns. A viewing terrace and a telescope are located in the open section of the cave, offering a panoramic view of the Taurus Mountains, the Mediterranean, and the city of Alanya.
Alanya Archaeological Museum: The museum, which exhibits many historical artifacts from the Archaic, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods, showcases the most important item—the Heracles statue. The statue, dating from the 2nd century AD, is displayed in a separate section. Also, the peacocks in the museum's garden attract the attention of visitors.
