Things to do in Bafa Lake

The first thing you should do when you come to Lake Bafa is a nice walk around the lake. If you want, you can also take morning walks in the forest area or you can plan bicycle tours both in the lake and in the forest. You may encounter difficult obstacles from time to time on the hiking trails. You can get guidance from the Bafa Lake hotel where you are staying.   

If you want, you can go on a boat tour in Lake Bafa. Boat tours organized by the fishermen in the vicinity can be a nice experience for you to discover the beauties and islets in the lake. If your trip to Lake Bafa is in summer, you can sunbathe and swim in the lake on the other shores of the lake and on the white beaches.    

You can take plenty of photos around the lake, on nature walks or on a boat tour. You can camp on Latmos Mountain or plan a climb up the mountain. If you are interested in bird watching, you can go bird watching. Although their numbers have decreased in recent years and endangered, you can go fishing if you like.   

If you want to get away from Lake Bafa, you can make day trips to holiday centers such as Didim, Bodrum and Kuşadası, which are close to the town.   

In the evening, you can relieve the tiredness of the day in your hotel's restaurant by enjoying raki fish against the lake view.
