What to do in Beykoz?

1. A Journey into History at Anadolu Hisarı: You can't miss Anadolu Hisarı, one of the most historical stops in Beykoz. When you step into this castle overlooking the Bosphorus, you can really feel the magnificent structure built by Yıldırım Bayezid in 1395. It was built for defense in its time, but now it enchants you with its view and atmosphere. It is absolutely delightful to sit in the small squares around the Citadel and watch the peaceful view of the sea.

2. An Ottoman Tale in Küçüksu Pavilion: One of the most elegant moments of my time in Beykoz was visiting Küçüksu Pavilion. I admired the elegant architecture of the Ottoman period. This pavilion, built by Sultan Abdülmecid, fascinates with the details in its interior. Located right on the edge of Göksu Creek, this pavilion is like a fairy tale. So you should definitely take a photo break.

3.Polonezköy Nature Park: For nature lovers, Polonezköy Nature Park is really worth exploring. While you are walking in the depths of the forest or taking tours by bicycle, you completely get away from the noise of city life. Especially in the early hours of the morning, walks in the trees accompanied by birdsong are a source of complete peace. While walking in the park, it is also nice to discover the Polish culture of Polonezköy.

4. Kanlıca Yogurt: You can't leave Kanlıca without tasting the famous yogurt! The yogurt is really delicious. When you sprinkle a little powdered sugar on it, it leaves a delicious taste in your mouth. This simple but delicious taste is a must for a visit to Beykoz. It is quite enjoyable to take this sweet break while taking a walk on the beach of Kanlıca.

5. A Coffee Against the Bosphorus in Mihrabat Grove: If you are looking for a quiet corner overlooking the Bosphorus, Mihrabat Grove is a great option. After Kanlıca, you can go to Mihrabat Grove and be alone with nature. While walking here, the view of the Bosphorus fascinates you at every step. There is also a cafe in the grove, where you can sit and drink a coffee with a view of the Bosphorus, taking away all the tiredness.

6. Sunset at Beykoz Beach: Watching the sunset on the quiet coast of Beykoz is truly mesmerizing. As you walk along the beach or wander among the fishing boats, you get away from the noise of Istanbul. The last rays of the day shine golden over the sea and the view is truly impressive.

7. Beykoz Glass and Billur Museum: If you want to see a bit more of the cultural side of Beykoz, the Beykoz Glass and Billur Museum is a great option. This is a place where I find glass art very interesting. The museum exhibits both old glass artifacts and examples of modern glasswork. There is a really impressive collection and it is fascinating to see how glass is transformed into an art form.

8. A Day at Hidiv Pavilion: Hidiv Pavilion is a must-see. Built in 1907 by the Egyptian Khedive, this pavilion was built in Art Nouveau style and offers a truly wonderful environment with its large grove around it. Having a cup of tea here and looking around takes you on a journey through time.

9. Photo Time at Otağtepe: Perhaps one of the most beautiful views of Beykoz can be seen at Otağtepe Fatih Grove. From here, it is an ideal place to watch the magnificent view of the Bosphorus and have your photo taken. It is a great experience to take a photo and get lost in nature.

10. A Different Experience at Beykoz Shooting Range: If you want to do something a little different in Beykoz, you can visit the Beykoz Shooting Range. Here, there is a very pleasant environment for those interested in shooting sports. This sport, which you can safely experience with instructors, is ideal for those looking for some excitement.
