Things to do in Yalikavak

When you come to Yalikavak, first of all, you should plan a nice morning walk to Sandima Village and have a nice breakfast there with organic vegetables and village jams.   

During the day, you should visit the tangerine gardens in Yalikavak and take plenty of photos. If you want, you can join one of the daily boat tours and visit the hidden bays, go to Koyun Baba Bay and visit the large and small islands in the vicinity. You can enjoy the sea and vacation by sunbathing on the beach all day long. You can see the windmills. You can take exploratory walks in and around Yalikavak.   

In the evening, you should go to Geriş Village located on the hill and watch the most beautiful view of the peninsula and Yalikavak at sunset from here.   

If you are a history buff, you can see rock tombs, columns and historical ruins from ancient times in Yalikavak.   

You can go to the Yalikavak Bazaar, which is established on Thursdays and is very famous on the peninsula, and do plenty of shopping.   

If you go to Yalikavak in June, you can attend the “Windmill Culture and Art Festival”. You can watch camel wrestling.   

You can go to the center of Bodrum, where you can visit historical and touristic places and shop. In the evening, you can immerse yourself in Bodrum's lively entertainment life.   

If you want, you can enjoy a wonderful fish in Yalikavak or in Bodrum fish restaurants accompanied by the fireworks.
