Things to do in Bozcaada

There are more activities in Bozcaada than you think of when you say island vacation. Because Bozcaada is an island that offers its guests completely different beauties.      

First of all, you should rent a bicycle and take a nice island tour in Bozcaada. You can also explore the island on foot. You will take plenty of photos. During your walk, you can take a nice fatigue break and drink a foamy island coffee on the pier.

You can enjoy the sun, sea, sand and vacation at Ayazma Beach. Especially when the beach is a little calm, it is really delicious. The sea is magnificent, clean and there is not a single stone.  If you want, you can join the daily boat tours and visit the other coasts of the island.     

If you are a diving enthusiast, you can dive in Bozcaada. You can take a nice tour of the vineyards that make the island special.

You can taste seasonal fish and a variety of appetizers and seafood while sipping island wine or raki by the sea against the sunset. At the fish restaurants in the harbor, you should definitely try black-eyed peas with vinegar and garlic, raw dolma wrapped in pickled leaves and squid stew.

If you visit the island in September, you can join the vintage festivities. During the festival, everyone gets on tractors and goes to the vineyards with the workers to learn the intricacies of grape picking. There are concerts in the castle and two competitions. In one, the island's grape beauty and in the other, the best sergeant grape are chosen.

Bozcaada's nightlife is also very active. After enjoying the fish in the evening, you can have fun in the bars of the island.

If you are interested in history, you can visit places related to the history of the island such as Bozcaada Castle, Bozcaada Local History Museum, Bozcaada Virgin Mary Church.
You can taste tomato jam, poppy sherbet, poppy jam and poppy cookies, gum drop cookies.

Beaches are Sulubahçe, Beylik, Neco beach, Ayazma, Ataol beach and Aquarium bay.
Experience watching the moonrise, setting the sun at the windmills, going up Göztepe in the center and going to the windmills for sunset (don't forget your picnic basket!)
