Things to do in Moda

Moda is a really charming neighborhood in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, with its calm atmosphere and historical texture.First, I stopped by the Moda Beach Park. It was a really great experience to take a walk on the beach. There were many cafes to lie on the grass and have a drink overlooking the sea. People usually prefer to relax here, so the atmosphere was quite calm and peaceful. While walking along the beach, I saw the Moda Pier. I liked it a lot because it has a historical texture, especially for those who want to take photos.

Moda Tea Gardens are also very pleasant. You can spend time sitting here, drinking tea and listening to the sound of the sea. I spent a few hours in these places, which I heard are really popular especially in spring and summer, and I really relaxed.

One day, I visited the Barış Manço Museum. It was a very meaningful step for Manço to turn his house into a museum. Filled with memories of his life, this museum was nostalgic and very informative. If you are interested in music and art, you should definitely visit this museum.

Walking towards the center of Moda, after strolling down Bahariye Street, I stopped by Süreyya Opera. This place is really interesting both for its historical structure and the shows it stages.

Of course, being in touch with the sea in Moda was also a very special experience. Moda Deniz Kulübü is a great place where you can both eat and spend time with a sea view. After having dinner here, I decided to go to Yoğurtçu Park and relax for a while. The calm atmosphere and nature of the park really takes you away from the chaos of the city.

Walking through the streets of Moda, I was pleasantly surprised to browse the antique shops. It was quite fun to find nostalgic objects and souvenirs. I bought a few small souvenirs from a few antique shops.
