Things to do in Karabuk
In Karabük, first of all, you can have a nice walk and shop in its streets, in the city center and in the bazaar.
You can go to Safranbolu or even stay for a night or two to get your fill. When you come to Safranbolu, you should first visit the streets of Safranbolu with your camera in hand. You can visit the historical houses and the bazaar and take lots of photos. You can visit the City History Museum, Stone Bridge, Mümtazlar Travel House, Cinci Bath. There are many historical mosques, churches, inns and baths in Safranbolu. You can visit these places. You can take a nice break in the center and taste the local Safranbolu dishes and have a nice tired coffee. You can buy from the famous Safranbolu Turkish delights.
You can see the İncekaya Canyon and the aqueduct. You can visit other canyons in Karabük. You can go to Yenice district and see the Çiftdere Nature Park, which is very rich in plant and animal diversity. You can go to the Open Air Forest Museum.
Eskipazar district is considered the oldest place in the region where there has been a settlement since the Bronze Age. There is also an ancient city within the boundaries of the district. You can visit Hadrianapolis Ancient City. You can visit the Karakoyunlu King's Tomb in Ovacık.
You can go to the Karabük highlands and plan a nice walk or picnic. You can hunt in the highlands. Do not forget to take your camera with you while visiting all these places in Karabük.
You can see the Karabük Kardemir Iron and Steel Museum. You can visit the Mencilis Cave in Bulak Village.
You can attend the Golden Saffron Documentary Film Festival held in September. You can taste the local dishes of Karabük. There are many entertainment venues in the center and in Safranbolu, you can go there.
