Things to do in Kastamonu

There are so many things to do in Kastamonu, which is a very rich city with its mountains, sea, nature and history, that even a week's vacation may not be enough for you.

- If you are in summer, you can spend time on the magnificent and long beaches of Kastamonu and swim in the sea. If you are traveling in winter, you can ski in mountains such as Ilgaz and Küre. Kastamonu is wonderful in all seasons.

- Ilgaz Mountain is a great place for holidaymakers who are keen on bird watching. You can do bird watching. You can go to the highlands and spend a day hiking, taking in the fresh air or having a picnic.

- You can visit the Küre and Ilgaz Mountains National Park and the Kastamonu Natural Monuments. You can go to the caves in the districts.

- You can see Horma Canyon. The canyon really has a wonderful beauty with its structure reminiscent of Ölüdeniz, deep valleys and natural lakes.

- You can take a nature tour on horseback at the horse farm in Daday. If you want, you can explore Kastamonu and its history and nature by bike. You can also take a walk if you want.

- You can see the historical mosques, inns and complexes in the center of Kastamonu. You can visit the bazaar, shop and take lots of photos in the center.
