Places to eat in Catalca

1. Ali Baba Köftecisi: Last week I discovered a meatball restaurant in the Ferhatpaşa neighborhood of Çatalca: Ali Baba Köftecisi. Even though I've been in Istanbul for years, I don't remember eating meatballs this good. The meatballs were so delicious and crispy in the pan that I savored every bite. It was a perfect meal with the piyaz and ayran that came with it.

2. Sofram Restaurant: I had dinner at Sofram Restaurant in Çatalca. They are very assertive about meat and tandoori and they really do it justice. The meat was so tender that it almost melted in your mouth. The place is quite large and spacious and offered a nice environment where you can eat comfortably. I recommend you to try their olive oil appetizers, they are really delicious.

3. Dişbudak Restaurant: Located in Nakkaş Village, a bit far from the city center but famous for its meat dishes. Although the journey was a bit long, it was worth it. The meat was fresh, cooked in the village style and quite delicious. The accompanying salads and appetizers reinforced the flavor of the food.

4. Yeso Park Picnic Area:I enjoyed breakfast at Yeso Park in the center of Çatalca. Freshly baked bread, olive oil, homemade jams... It was so filling that I hardly made it through the evening. Especially the large garden and the environment in touch with nature is ideal for spending time with your family or friends. The breakfast was very rich, everything was fresh and delicious. It was a really pleasant experience.

5. Cafe Lupus: If you want to eat something a bit faster and more casual, I should mention Cafe Lupus. I stopped here one afternoon and had toast, which was really delicious. They also have grilled meatballs and waffles, but the toast and the fries with it were really complete. A great option for a quick snack.

6. Cavusoglu Farmhouse: If you are looking for natural flavors in touch with nature, you should go to Çavuşoğlu Farm House. The village breakfast here is legendary! They offer a mixed breakfast with 40 different products and all of them are organic, fresh and homemade. The cheeses, olives, jams, olive oil dishes were a burst of flavor. It was great to have a pleasant breakfast in a farm environment and start the day by enjoying the nature.
