Places to eat in Antalya City Center
In Antalya Kaleiçi, you can find many places where the local flavors of the Yoruks living in the region are served. When you go to Kaleiçi, do not return without tasting these flavors. Some of the local dishes are as follows; Saç kavurması, Tandır kebab, Kölle (boiled wheat, beans, chickpeas and fava beans), Tomato civesi, Hibeş, Arapaşı. Among the desserts, eggplant, bergamot and citrus jam are worth trying.
There are also many restaurants in Antalya serving Turkish and international cuisine. The restaurants of touristic hotels welcome guests from outside as well as the guests staying in the hotels. You can see many fish restaurants especially along the coastline. In addition to enjoying fish, you should also taste different appetizers in these restaurants. Piyaz with tarator is a local specialty. It is important that it is made with dried beans from the Çandır region, it tastes even better when eaten hot.
For breakfast,
There's Tefik Usta, the dumpling maker. It's very famous in Antalya.
For the food,
1- TOPÇU : meatballs - piyaz
2- 7 Mehmet - expensive but great taste
3- ARMA - expensive but the ambience and food are very good for romantics (we go often with my wife haaaa haaa)
4- Vanilla - Kaleici, live music and good food and Pizza
5- PIO street food,
6- CANCAN- cook restaurant and pita, I recommend.
