Places to eat in Sarigerme
Dolphin Restaurant: Dolphin was a must for me in Sarigerme evenings. I still remember the fresh sea bass I ate at the tables set against the sea, watching the sunset. The olive oil dishes they served with the fish were another feast. The service was so warm that I felt like I was being hosted at the home of someone I've known for years. Especially those who love calamari should definitely try the crispy calamari here.
Paradise Restaurant Cafe Bar: One evening I had dinner at Paradise with live music and the atmosphere was just like a vacation. The menu included international cuisine, but I stuck to Aegean cuisine. Herbed appetizers, roasted eggplant salad, and lightly grilled chicken on top... To be honest, the smell of pizza coming from the next table tempted me a bit, so I'll give it a try next time I'm there.
Street 61 Restaurant Bar: This place is a bit more modern and young. I ordered the meat fajita and it came hot and warm with crispy pita bread. I loved the homemade hot sauces they served with it. It's also nice to come and drink coffee during the day, but especially in the evenings, it's a good place to sit with friends for a long time with light music.
Sarigerme Beach Cafe: If you want to have breakfast against the sea early in the morning, Beach Cafe is a corner of peace. With its large mixed breakfast and fresh products, you start the day like a feast. Even the olives were carefully selected and the tomatoes were fragrant. Add freshly brewed tea and you have a Sarigerme morning ritual.
The Joker Cafe: The breakfast I had here appealed to both my eyes and my stomach. Colorful jams, plates with lots of greens and crispy flatbreads... All homemade. And the owners are warm people. When you sit in the courtyard in the cool of the morning and have breakfast, you really feel like you've disconnected from the city.
Ottoman Cafe: For those who like their breakfast a little more traditional, Osmanlı Cafe is the perfect place. Their menemen was delicious with lots of tomatoes, and the egg with sausage was just right. The garden is quiet, under the trees... A must stop for those who want to have a leisurely breakfast in peace.
