Places to see in Beyoglu

When you think of Beyoğlu, you should take a walk on Istiklal Street, one of the first places that comes to mind, or take the tram from start to finish. You can stop by Çiçek Pasajı for a meal break to relieve your tiredness during the day.   

There are so many places and historical buildings in Beyoğlu that you should visit... While you are in Beyoğlu, you can see Galata Tower, one of the oldest towers in the world, you can visit Galata Square, Galata Mevlevi Lodge.    

You can go to Tünel Square, known as the second oldest subway in the world, where the tram takes you to Galata. At lunchtime, you can take a tea and coffee break in one of the cafes or restaurants in the square and relax.   

Apart from all these, other historical and touristic places you should see are as follows: Galatasaray Bath, Arab Mosque, French Street, Anzavur Passage, Syrian Passage, Anglican Church, Republic Monument, Tokatlıyan Han, Asmalımescit, Cihangir, Nevizade, Crimean Church, Galatasaray High School and Museum, Taksim Square, Taksim Gezi Park are among the places you should visit when you stay in Beyoğlu hotels. We recommend you to get a nice camera and take lots of photos.
