Places to see in Bitez

When you come to Bitez, you can explore the magnificent bays as well as strolling in the center and the bazaar. You can go to Bağla Bay, which is only 15 minutes away from Bodrum, and swim in the sea. Bağla Bay is also shown on Piri Reis' map drawn in the 15th century.   

You can visit the Greek Gara Church in the citrus groves. With a history of about 1800 years, this Greek church will take you through the pages of history.   

You can go to the area called Aquarium Bay in Bodrum. The area between Gumbet and Bitez is one of the most important and beautiful routes of boat tours. Do not return without seeing the sparkling sea and swimming a little.    

You can go to the center of Bodrum, which is about 10 minutes away. There you can visit Bodrum Bazaar, see Bodrum Castle and go to Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum. If you want, you can also join Bodrum's night entertainment.   

You can see the grave of the famous poet Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, known as the Fisherman of Halicarnassus. You can visit the house of our Art Sun Zeki Müren, which has been turned into a museum.
