Places to visit in Akyarlar

It is known that the old name of Akyarlar was Arhialla. It is said that the Greeks who used to live here built an ancient city. You can see the ruins of the ancient city of Termera.   

You can visit the unexplored bays of Akyarlar by canoe or boat. You can go to Karaincir Beach, one of the most suitable places to swim in the sea. Akyarlar sand and sea are wonderful. You can go to the center of Bodrum, which is about 20 kilometers away. There you can visit Bodrum Bazaar, see Bodrum Castle and go to Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum.
