Places to see in Yalikavak

You can go to Geriş Village, which is located on the hill on the south side of Yalikavak. You can watch the most beautiful and unique view of Yalikavak from the hill in the village, photograph the houses of Geriş Village, which stand out with their interesting architecture, and stroll through the streets.   

Especially in the mornings, you can take a nice morning walk to Sandima Village, two kilometers from Yalikavak, and enjoy a wonderful breakfast table and taste organic vegetables, village jams, olives grown in the region, and various kinds of cheese.   

Yalikavak is one of the most beautiful places on the Bodrum Peninsula where you can watch the windmills. Because it is always windy. Therefore, when you come to Yalikavak, you can see the windmills on the hills and one near the beach. If you are lucky, you can even observe the windmills in action.   

In Yalikavak, you can see historical ruins from ancient times and Panormus Rock Tombs. You can take a stroll through the tangerine groves and lose yourself in the fragrant citrus scents.   

You can take boat tours to see the islands, bays and especially Koyun Baba Bay.    

You can go to the center of Bodrum and see Bodrum Bazaar, Bodrum Castle and the Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
