Places to see in Torba

Bodrum Peninsula has an ancient history and you should definitely see the 2500-year-old monumental rock tombs from the Lelegs. This community is the oldest in the town and peninsula. These tombs and historical ruins that have survived for thousands of years deserve to be seen.

You should definitely see the columns that remain to this day from the Mindos Gate, the gate that Alexander the Great could not pass through during his Asian campaign due to the ditches in front of it. To get here, you will also come from the west side of the town by seeing the Old Kumbet next to the old Turkish tombs.

When you come to Torba, which is close to the center of Bodrum, you should go to Rabbit Island and see the ruins there, walk through the Historical King's Road to the island and swim at the natural beach on the south side of the island. The feeling of walking on the water by entering the knee-deep sea will make you feel different.

You can go to a place known as Olive Harbor. If you have the time, you can even take a boat from there to Didim and see the historical and natural beauties there.

You can visit the Ancient Byzantine Monastery on the east side of Torba. You can go to the center of Bodrum and see Bodrum Bazaar, Bodrum Castle and Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
