The peaceful days we are currently spending in nature at Yeşil Çizme Doğa Evi, which we escaped to from Safranbolu, remind us once again how valuable it is to get away from city life.

🚗 Located just 5 minutes from Safranbolu, at an altitude of 650 meters, surrounded by lush green forests, this paradise is a true retreat hotel filled with birdsong and the sound of water. The ice-cold spring water in the garden has been filling the hotel’s decorative pools for years, becoming the most natural way to cool off on hot summer days. There are many reasons to visit here, not only in summer but also in autumn and winter. I’ve even started dreaming of roasting chestnuts by the fireplace in winter!

🏠 Yeşil Çizme is a small, stylish hotel with a total of 6 rooms. We are staying in a spacious, comfortable mansion. It’s actually for eight people, but it’s so cozy and peaceful that, while we planned to stay one night, we ended up extending our stay to two. The joy of sitting on the balcony, sipping coffee with the magnificent view, is truly something special. They offer a bed and breakfast concept, but if you wish, you can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The menu is rich and delicious, and you can pamper yourself in every sense here.

✏️ The warm hospitality of the hotel owners, Cem and Tuğba, makes you feel right at home. You can see their touch in every detail. The entire restoration process of the hotel was carried out by them, which makes this place even more special. Instead of using an architect, they created such a beautiful place by using their own vision.

📍 The location of Yeşil Çizme is also very beautiful. It is very close to historical and natural beauties such as Safranbolu’s old town center, #TokatlıCanyon, and #MencilisCave. We also took a short trip from the hotel to visit the famous houses of #Safranbolu, the blacksmiths’ bazaar, and #YörükVillage. We also went for a walk in #TokatlıCanyon and climbed up to the glass terrace. There are so many beauties to explore in this region.

After being stuck at home for 4 months due to Covid, we partially gathered our courage and decided to go somewhere. We opened the "Socially Distanced Hotels" section of Küçükoteller and started looking. We found Yeşil Çizme Nature House completely by chance. I looked at the comments in a few different places, they are all very good. Thinking that so many people must not be wrong, we made our reservation immediately and went there last weekend. A true paradise near Safranbolu, in a valley covered with trees, where there is almost nothing around. As soon as I left, I spread out in the hammock under the trees in the greenery, and 3 days later they picked me up from the same place 😊 Green Boots Nature House is run by Tuba Hanım and her husband Cem Bey. They have a huge land. Family heirloom. It is a complete family business with fathers, mothers, grandmothers and children, but it is not one of the family businesses we know. They do their job with an incredible amateur spirit but perfect professionalism. In fact, they are so professional that we may even think that they run it with an amateur spirit 😊 Ms. Tuba and Mr. Cem have worked as guides in the tourism industry for 20+ years and transferred all the experience they have accumulated to this beautiful business. They do their best to make their guests comfortable. We truly felt at home from the moment we entered. They have 6 rooms in total, but due to the pandemic, 5 of them are open with external entrances. The rooms are very simply and elegantly furnished and are quite spacious. Since the land is so large, you do not need to be with any other guests or mix with the crowd. Prices are bed and breakfast, but you can also have lunch and dinner there if you wish. That's what we did, I highly recommend it because the food is delicious. The basis of the dishes is the experience of Tuba Hanım's mother, what Tuba Hanım has accumulated from her guidance days, and the dexterity of her assistants in the kitchen. It's definitely a great mix. By the way, they also solved my gluten problem, they prepared special gluten-free meals for me, they were very careful, I had no problems. They even made gluten-free potato meatballs in the oven, what else can they do? 😊 Thank you very much. There is no one around except farmers and cows. Of course, birds, butterflies and squirrels. Let's not forget their dog Luna and their cat Chickpea and her kittens Sweet, Salty and Sour. The sky, stars and silence at night are wonderful. Water flows everywhere. Sleeping in a hammock while listening to the sound of water is a different pleasure. It is definitely a great place to relax. By the way, it is also very beautiful in the snow in winter, we received the promise of a mulled wine night in the snow from Ms. Tuba 😊 Everything was great, thank you very much.

While looking for a place to stay for our Safranbolu trip, we found Green Boots Nature House. With its tastefully built rooms in nature and its huge garden, you will feel as if you are spending time comfortably in your own farmhouse. We realized that the comments we saw on the internet were few and far between:) the rooms were spotless and attentive, the breakfast was legendary, it was like a dream among the birds and squirrels. We will definitely come when it snows. While we were looking for a place to stay for our trip to Safranbolu, we found a farmhouse that we could go to in all seasons. A life would pass without ever leaving this place. Thank you very much to Mr. Cem and his team for this unforgettable beautiful weekend. Hope to see you as soon as possible.

We took our place in the fairy tale book:) A few stone buildings built in the middle of a lush green garden and fairytale-like rooms decorated with taste and love... As soon as you enter the garden gate, you encounter friendly staff. Each of them smiles with the warmth of family. The cuisine is very delicious, most of the products are made from vegetables grown in their own gardens and fruits picked from trees. You know what they say, it feels like it was touched by a mother's hand, that's exactly what it is :) There is also a cast iron stove that never goes out, which makes the winter garden indispensable. We stayed for a short time, like three days, but we made a lot of memories and good friends. We left our tree elf, which we carried in our left shirt pocket, in the middle of that lush fairy tale so that he could play with the big-headed Luna. Our minds and hearts remained there. We would like to thank Tuğba Hanım, Mr. Cem and his family, and Yeşil Çizme employees for including us in their stories and for their beautiful friendship.
